There was a time time time... When movie theaters had marquees. For those of you who have no idea what that is. "It's a rooftop projection over the entrance to a theater, hotel, or building" Now granted there are still some movie theaters that have them but they aren't very common. Here are some marquees with classic horror films on them.
The Night of the Living Dead premiere at Pittsburgh’s Fulton Theater (now the Byham Theater) on October 1, 1968.

The Exorcist UK premiere at London’s Leicester Square Theatre on March 13, 1974.

Somewhere in California, the girl in the photo is wearing a Dawn Of the Dead tee.

Evil Dead at the Prince Charles Cinema in London.

The Warner Cinerama Theatre in New York, originally The Strand Theatre, opened in 1914. It was demolished in the late 80's.

Do you have any theaters in your area that still have marquees?
